Moray eels, spotted rays and turtles with their flippers
Butterfly and tuna fish but not too many kippers
To take a shot with just one fish, impossible to do
'Cause teeming life and coral reef, infinity to blue.
Hurghada on the red sea is the place where I first learnt to dive and I have since been back a number of times, not just to dive but to meet up with many of the divers I have met out there, namely the great team on the dive boat “Amanda” and all the dive team from the blue dreams dive centre based at the aqua fun hotel. These guys have not only been my teachers but have been a fantastic inspiration to me. I won’t say it’s the best day boat nor can I say I believe they are the best dive centre - there are so many great dive centres around the world. I know making a distinction is a personal choice but for me their hospitality is second to none. As for the reefs the one I would describe as the most beautiful would be Shaab Sabrina, south of Hurghada. To do a drift dive over this reef is an indulgence in pure pleasure for the eye. What do I like about Sabrina? Try a shallow dive with a maximum depth of 16mtrs, no need to fin, just use you body position as a sail and let the current glide you over the reef.
